What are you playing this weekend?

With E3 firing up Monday it’s time to utilize the calm before the storm. Will you be downloading some virtual console games, or maybe play some Mario Kart? It’s up to you, but tell us below!
What are you playing this weekend?

May 29th, 2009 at 5:00 pm
PokeMon. I’m hunting the Legendary birds in Platinum and Mewtwo in LeafGreen.
May 29th, 2009 at 5:06 pm
If I can find the time to play, I too will be playing Pokemon (Diamond), as I just recently found my old cartridge and decided to get back into it because of the coming of the new G/S/(and hopefully C) games that are coming out (turns out I had myself one hecuva team before I lost my cart). If I play anything else, It’ll likely be TF2, seeing as how Valve just released the Sniper and Spy updates.
May 29th, 2009 at 5:08 pm
Oh yeah, one more thing!
@Lite
You sure it’s legendary “birds”? The only pokemon games that had that in my memory were Red, Blue, and Green.
May 29th, 2009 at 5:21 pm
Actually started popping Mario Galaxy recently to do Luigi’s quest, along with some Mario Kart Wii and Animal Crossing City Folk.
AND TEAM FORTRESS 2.
May 29th, 2009 at 5:33 pm
Portal and Team Fortress 2. I may even start on Half-Life. I have to redownload the OrangeBox tonight though. I’m not looking forward to that.
I think I’ll play some Chinatown Wars while I wait for Portal to finish or watch some tv. I hate myself, I lost Days of Ruin and Picross. I would be playing those right now.

guitar hero metallica and rock band 2 with some friends, maybe mario kart too

@ HyperPhazon:
Once you beat the Elite Four and get the National Dex, Proffesor Oak will appear in a house in Eterna City. Talk to him to start the Legendary Birds side-quest. Moltres, Zapdos, and Articuno will roam Sinnoh.
May 29th, 2009 at 5:53 pm
@ Lite
Cool, I never knew you could do that (though from experience, I find that Zapdos is the only worthwhile for battling). I just hope that they aren’t as hard to find initially as Latios/Latias was in Ruby and Saphire. I spent weeks trying to even encounter them (they weren’t marked on any map, and they changed locations every time you switched a route).
May 29th, 2009 at 5:54 pm
I’ll be playing Boom Blox Bash Party this weekend.
May 29th, 2009 at 6:02 pm
@ HyperPhazon:
Ohh…boy…All three roam at once, the same way Latio/as did, the same way the Legendary beasts did in GSC, and the same way Cresselia and Mesprit do. You’re gonna go insane. I’ve barely struck the birds. I aaaaalmost had Articuno yesterday.
May 29th, 2009 at 6:06 pm
I plan on playing Portal, Jump: Ultimate Stars, and Final Fantasy 7 =P
May 29th, 2009 at 6:08 pm
@srkelley: You haven’t played Half-Life 2 yet? You’re absolutely in for a treat. ;D
Anyway, I just received my copy of Punch-Out for Wii that I won from the Atari boxart contest here on Infendo, and I absolutely love it! I’m not a fan of the original game, but this one is soooo good. Thanks Infendo!

@ Lite
Well, good luck with your hunting then!
May 29th, 2009 at 6:32 pm
Custer’s Revenge FTW!
May 29th, 2009 at 6:33 pm
E3 Packing 2009 with added Wii Motion Plus controls.
If I beat that game in time, i’ll probably relax with some Cross Edge X.

May 29th, 2009 at 7:40 pm

May 29th, 2009 at 7:42 pm

May 29th, 2009 at 7:52 pm
Mostly Neverwinter Nights on my PC.
I’ll also probably play some Tiki Towers and Lode Runner on the Wii with my son.
May 29th, 2009 at 8:22 pm
@ Joshdad
I use to play Neverwinter Nights all the time! I still have the original map that came with the game on my wall!
May 29th, 2009 at 9:34 pm
Probably just Pokemon Diamond and checking out the features of my bro’s new dsi.
May 29th, 2009 at 10:08 pm
@Will
Great game isn’t it? I’ve beaten it a couple of times, but it’s still fun to play through every year or so. I actually have the Gold edition which includes all the expansions. I also have Neverwinter Nights 2, but honestly I think I prefer the original over the second.

Little King’s Story in the Wii, great game. And Rhythm Paradise ds
May 30th, 2009 at 4:31 pm

GameStop is selling used copies of Super Mario Galaxy for 30 bucks, so I managed to snag one of those. That’s right, the last Wii owner to not own Super Mario Galaxy finally picked it up this weekend. I’m not a fan of 3D platformers, so I pretty much just figured that the kids would play it, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised. Pretty awesome game. And of course the kids are already WAY ahead of me on their save game….
